On rare occasions we find an article so well written that we must share it with our friends and clients on Current. This is one of those times. Every designer could use this information to help their clients understand why furniture cost what it does. I loved the analogy that consumers are willing to pay $800 for an iPhone, but hesitate to pay that for a sofa. Check out the graph on the decline in sale price since 2006.
